Build your nation, pleasing and controlling your citizens, amassing resources, growing an army, and gaining new territory. Only one thing stands in your way of total domination: other players. You may fight, ally and trade with surrounding nations, who are all competing for the same supply of lands as you are. To become a powerful nation, it is a necessity to join alliance blocks with other powerful countries. Choose your allies carefully, for if you don’t, they could turn, and seize control and your resources! 

With a simple set of simulation rules regarding resource generation, a board of grid tiles, and a way to leave/join player made "alliances", Alliance allows players to play out complex political systems.
